YMax Corp, the Palm Beach based company introduced the VoIP pioneer service called MagicJack. MagicJack has now come up with its latest version and can be used on your PC with high speed internet connection.

It plugs into a PC as an USB, which needs a broadband Internet connection. The device then detects when a compatible SoftPhone comes with a calling dial. The user enters a short code (Secret code or pin number) on the phone. The phone is then linked to the MagicJack, and the calls last till u signify within the coverage. However, according to Dan Borislow, the CEO of YMax Corp, the device is undoubtedly legal because wireless spectrum license don’t extend into the home.

The device is tested with a T mobile user who was present on the demonstration session of Magicjack. And it worked well with the system.

Ymax planned to start selling their updated SoftPhone application ‘MagicJack’ device around the second quarter of this year, most probably by may 2010.
